Dickson Day of Service

Join Hands On as we help Stuart-Burns Elementary School get refreshed and rejuvenated for the end-of-school-year rush while the students are on spring break. During this event, volunteers will work to: Paint the school hallways to give it a fresh, new, and cohesive look Repaint the lines for the car rider loop Lunch will be provided for this project. Volunteers should dress in comfortable clothes that they are comfortable getting dirty. Stuart-Burns Elementary School was built in 1988 and is named in honor of Aline Stuart, who taught in the Dickson County school system for 45 years, including 39 years at the original Burns School and 30 years as principal GO BOBCATS!
